Need more flavor on the dogs . Beautiful soda selection. Ghetto sodas like pineapple, strawberry, grape ... love these .. I'll go back when I'm in there area.

Hidden gem. They're super friendly and super clean and super nice. They have some fantastic combinations of items to go on hot dogs. At first you might not think it but it's worth a try. Well worth the trip.

Newark institution and the best DWD truck in the state. Stiff competition in Newark but JJ’s chili/cheese dogs are #1. Been tops for over 60 years.

I remember this place since I used to work for Bell Atlantic back in the day, before it switched over to Verizon. Growing up in the Ironbound section and it was Ralph's orange truck at Independence park when I was a kid before that. You still keep your prices low, which helps the rest of us greatly, and I remember the prices before 2000 which let you put away 5 or 6 of them easily. I even had one of your shirts, it was red on white, with the JJ's Hot Dog logo and "eat me" below it. That always got looks when I wore it in the summer down at the shore.

Back again on a rainy January day. Steam was swirling and the dogs taste great, as always! 2 dogs with mustard and saurkraut and a soda for 6$ Thanks JJ! The hotdog is so hot that you have to switch hands walking back to your car. After the first bite you exhale steam like you are drinking soup. This is exactly what a Jersey Dog should be. The guy that runs this is very good at his job and he speaks many languages. I believe JJs is also on Uber Eats. Try the Spicy Sauce. It will make your head sweat just a tad. Thank you !

I haven't been here in about 16 years since I moved to FL. I told my Brother about this iconic Hot Dog truck. Stopped by today....Great Dogs, Great Service, Great Conversation with Frank. Highly recommend this location if you're in the mood for an authentic NY Dog, but don't want to drive to NYC to get one. A hidden gem of Newark!

I went here for the first time today. My brother told me about this place and gave it great reviews. After trying it, I must concur that the hot dogs 🌭 are excellent! I'll be coming back soon.

It's a hot dog stand. I ordered from door dash for my fiancé who has decided that hot dogs are pivotal at least once per week. We ordered two. They sent one. When calling to ask for the second hot dog I was met with a rude tone and told to contact door dash. I did. They requested the redelivery of the one hot dog and the guy marked the store closed... if you mess up fixing your mistake is the cost of doing business.
